A little care goes a long way.
A few simple habits give you a cleaner burn, a stronger scent and more hours from every candle.
Candle care
The first burn matters most
Let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the vessel before you blow it out — usually two to three hours. Wax has a memory; a short first burn leaves a tunnel that follows the candle for its whole life.
Trim the wick
Trim to about 1/4" before every lighting. A long wick burns hot, smokes and can darken the vessel.
Four hours at a time
Burn for no more than four hours, then let the candle cool completely before relighting. Keep it away from drafts, children, pets and anything flammable, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
Know when to stop
Stop burning when about 1/2" of wax remains. Once cool, clean the vessel with warm, soapy water and give it a second life.

Questions
What does “fragrance load” mean?
It is the share of fragrance oil blended into the wax. A higher percentage gives a stronger scent throw — good for living rooms, kitchens and open spaces. A lower percentage is softer and suits bedrooms, bathrooms and smaller rooms.
Do I need an account to order?
You can browse without one. To place an order you’ll sign in or create a free account — it takes a minute, keeps your cart, and lets you see your orders and tracking any time.

How do I pay?
Choose a payment method at checkout. Card payments are made through a secure invoice link we email you; for Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or PayPal, our details appear on your confirmation. Your order ships once payment is received.
How much is shipping, and where do you ship?
A flat $10 per order to the lower 48 states. We don’t currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or outside the United States.
Can I return a candle?
All sales are final. If your order arrives damaged, email us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll send a replacement. Shipping & returns
Why is my candle tunneling?
Almost always because the first burn was too short. Burn it for two to three hours, until the melt pool reaches the edge; after a burn or two the surface usually evens out.
Why is there soot on the vessel?
A wick that is too long, or a draft. Trim to 1/4" and move the candle out of moving air.
Can I reuse the vessel?
Please do. Once the candle is finished and cool, pop out any remaining wax, wash with warm soapy water, and use it for pens, brushes, a small plant or another candle.
